Bozburun

The Marmaris-Bozburun strech passing throught Hisarönü and Selimiye is 52 kilometers (33 miles). Bozburun’ s population is over 2.000 people. Along the way, both the land and the sea offer breathtaking panoramic views. The town is situated on the edge of the Bozburun Peninsula, and is one of few remaining untouched recreational areas around Marmaris. It has a small yet lively harbor, which is an important stopover point for yachts on a blue voyage trip. The motels, pensions and restaurants here offer good service. It’s pristine sea is surrounded by coves. Motorboat tours among these coves construction gullets. Further steps were taken in boat building in recent years and now; 30- meter (100 ft) boats are being built. Among it’ s summer papulation are people who live in large city but have constructed summer homes here. The Internetional Gullet Festival is held annually, from the 26th to the 28th of october
   
  Sögüt

Going to Sögüt by car or minibus then a walking tour through the old settlements of Cavdir and Bahçeli following the trails and tractor paths surrounded by pine trees. Then a rest and refreshments break amongst the local people at the village café under the plane tree. After that, local lunch and “börek” at a village house. Return to hotel by either car or boat.
   
  Bayir and the Cove of Çiftlik

From hotel to Bayir Village by minibus. Bayir is a forest village with pine trees all around. The historic plane tree is the symbol of the village. It is said to be older than 2000 years. It is also a wish-tree. If you turn around the tree three times with your wish in your mind, it comes true, so they say. It takes approximately two and a half hours of walk from this village to Çiftlik Cove following a path in the forest full of pine trees and marvellous scents of the mountains. At Çiftlik Cove, it is time for a swim and then a nice meal. Return to hotel by minibus.
   
  Taslica

From hotel to Sögüt Village by minibus, then walking up to Taslica enjoying the beautiful sights of the sea. On the way up, you will be able to see the Greek island of Symi and Datça peninsula. Taslica is a village of mainly shepherds and the people here are said to have come all the way from Middle Asia. You can notice the Asian type faces of most locals. There are 50 historical wells which date back to some unknown era. Then a refreshments break at the village café and return to hotel by minibus.
   
  Orhaniye, Kiz Kumu (the Virgin’s Beach)

To the old Orhaniye settlement in two hours by minibus. A walk in the forest. Swimming at Kiz Kumu Beach. Another walk on the shore of Turgut Village and lunch if requested.
